Blend/segment, sight words, expressive reading, and story retell with evidence from text.
Sentences With Conventions
Penmanship, capitalization, punctuation, spacing, spelling patterns, and first short narratives.
Add/Subtract With Reasoning
Number sense, +/- within 10–20, patterns, place value intro, time, money, measurement.

Turn-taking, resilience, leadership jobs, and speaking/performing for an audience.
Where Mastery Meets Imagination
Every day, Kindercarrots rotate into specialist workshops. Skills learned in the classroom are reinforced with real-world applications—measuring in Cooking, data in Science, composition in Art, performance in Music & Drama, and more.
- Cooking & Nutrition: Fractions, measuring, safety & etiquette.
- Science: Experiments, observation logs, class “lab notes.”
- Music & Drama: Rhythm, ensemble, projection—two performances yearly.
- Art: Artist studies, media technique, portfolio pieces.
- Geography & Foreign Language: Maps, cultures, Spanish exposure.

Capstone Projects & Showcases

Students write, illustrate, and read original stories to classmates and families.
Mini-Math Expo
